This International Women’s Day, we’ve chosen to support local charity Dress for Success by hosting a clothing drive and donating to their fundraising campaign, Empower Hour.
Dress for Success Hobart started in 2019 and the team at TasOGS have been avid supporters of the great work they do to empower women to achieve economic independence through employment. Dress for Success provide interview and employment styling for women entering the workforce and career support in the form of resumes and interview preparation. They are a volunteer driven organisation with a very small team who are absolutely committed to addressing the barriers that some women face in terms of getting work.
They even support women going back to work after having children!
If you would like to donate an item of interview appropriate corporate casual wear to Dress for Success, our office is a drop off point from Monday 7th until Friday 18th March. Items must be in excellent condition with no visible wear and tear and freshly laundered or dry cleaned.
